What is the definition of "retired members"?

All active members, whether or not they are entered on the roll of the ODQ, who permanently stop practicing dentistry and request this status. To do so, they must provide us with a written statement on the membership form indicating that they have permanently stopped or plan to do so as of January 1 of the year in question.
