What is Réseau ACDQ? An Internet link that communicates with the insurers?
No. Réseau ACDQ is a service offered by the Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec to its members that lets them form a group for the purposes of dealing with insurers. When dentists register with Réseau ACDQ, they are also recognized by participating insurers’ computer systems and can electronically send their dental insurance claims to those insurers. Each dentist must register with Réseau ACDQ for each office where he or she practices.
Registration is free and reserved for ACDQ or Dentaide members. It encompasses all standards for the electronic transmission of patient dental insurance claims to insurers.
These standards must be upheld by software providers, insurers and their agents. It was created in collaboration with dental software providers, telecommunication network providers and insurers so that the standards would be upheld.
Dental insurance claims submitted electronically can be processed:
In real time: You immediately obtain the information concerning the insured portion of care.
Offline: You receive an acknowledgment of receipt indicating that the reimbursement will be processed later, without the necessity of mailing a form.
