Professional Development

The four-module management training program consists in two cohorts of 20 participants, one in Montreal and the other in Quebec City.

See two videos (in French) featuring first-cohort participants who give their overall appreciation of the training and the concrete contribution it adds to their management skills.

Sequence 1: The 4 modules of management training

Sequence 2: Custom management training for dental offices

This training program has two parts: Webinars presents the basic principles and general theory of each module and the classroom portion adapts this theory to the reality of dental offices and takes the form of workshops and case studies.

The cost for the four-module training is $3,500 (+ taxes) for ACDQ members  and $4,500 (+ taxes) for an administrative staff member provided that he or she is accompanied by an ACDQ member.

The training takes place in Montréal at HEC Montréal building and in Quebec City at Hilton Hotel.

Each year, the ACDQ gives a course on a different subject, which most often focuses on dental practice management, without excluding clinical topics. To this end, the Association calls on external as well as internal consultants, depending on the theme.

This is a one-day course for dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants who want to reduce the risks of work-related pain, such as musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).

The theme for 2019-2020 is Work pain free! Pay attention to your work posture at the dental office.

Courses are held on Fridays and given free of charge by the Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec through dental societies, which each determine their own terms. Participants are asked to register 30 minutes before the course start. Usually, courses start at 8:30 am.

All Quebec dentists. However, depending on the subject, in some years, dentists can attend with members of their personnel.
