| Description | The Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe Dental Hygiene Clinic is looking for a passionate, versatile, dynamic and conscientious dentist to join its team for sporadic needs in the summer of 2023 and for a full time position from the summer of 2023 to the summer of 2024. This professional teaching clinic is administered by the Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe. Its objective is to allow trainees in Dental Hygiene Techniques (DEC and AEC) to acquire a complete professional training adapted to the skills required by the workplace. The dentist must perform diagnostic examinations, write prescriptions for certain treatments and collaborate in operative dentistry during internships. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Be present at the clinic from the beginning to the end of the treatment period. - Collaborate with clinician-teachers and intervene with clients. - Ensure the review of the medical-dental questionnaire and the precautions related to dental treatments. - Prescribe medication related to dental care. - Prescribe radiographs. - Perform dental, radiological and periodontal examinations. - Perform anesthesia and carve cavities for operative dentistry treatments. REQUIREMENTS - University degree in a field of specialization related to the program of study. - Member in good standing of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec (ODQ). - Experience in a dental office. - Very good knowledge of the French language. - Interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a multidisciplinary teaching environment.
