How to become a member?
Upon receipt of your payment, we will send you your membership card and official receipt, accompanied by the Fee Guide and Description of Dental Treatment Services, and all the information you need to benefit from the advantages we offer.


2010 Membership Fee

$800: regular membership fee
$400: reduced membership fee (over 65)
$  60: reduced membership fee (new graduate, resident, disabled, retired)

 

According to the Rand formula and our agreement with the Minister of Health and Social Services, if you don’t pay your annual membership fee within the date indicated on the Membership Fee Notice, the Régie de l’assurance-maladie du Québec (RAMQ) will deduct 35% from fees you bill it, up to the full dues amount, and pay it to us.

New Graduate

You pay a one-time $60 entry fee, and fill out a membership application form and a consent form, which will allow us to obtain the information necessary for our negotiations with the government.

If you follow these simple procedures, you will be a member in good standing for the current year. In November, you will receive a notice for the regular membership fee. It is in your interest to pay it immediately to keep your status as member in good standing and all the related benefits and avoid the application of the Rand formula.

 

Resident
You pay, as soon as you graduate, a one-time $60 entry fee, and fill out a membership application form and a consent form, which will allow us to obtain the information necessary for our negotiations with the government.

If you follow these simple procedures, you will be a member in good standing for the current year. In November, you will receive a notice for the regular membership fee, but if you send us proof that you are a dental resident, you will maintain your member status for $60 only.

Please note that according to the Rand formula and our agreement with the Minister of Health and Social Services, if you treat beneficiaries of the public dental plan during your residency, whatever the year or number of years, the Régie de l’assurance-maladie du Québec (RAMQ) will deduct 35% from fees you bill it, up to the regular membership fee, and pay it to us. This amount is not reiumbursable.

 

Dentist with a valid Quebec licence who has neven been a member of the ACDQ
You only have to pay a one-time $60 entry fee, and the regular membership fee. You complete a payment form, membership application form and a consent form, which will allow us to obtain information necessary for our negotiations with the government.

If you follow these simple procedures, you will be a member in good standing for the current year. In November, you will receive a notice for membership fee for the next year. It is in your interest to pay it immediately to keep your status as member in good standing and all the related benefits and avoid the application of the Rand formula.

 

Dentist with a valid Quebec licence who has already been a member of the ACDQ
You only have to pay the regular membership fee to reinstate your status as member in good standing for the current year. In November, you will receive a notice for membership fee for the next year. It is in your interest to pay it immediately to keep your status as member in good standing and all the related benefits and avoid the application of the Rand formula.
