One of Desjardins’ competitors is soliciting merchants, claiming that if they change providers, they will be able to continue to offer Accord D to their clients. Although that is actually true, be careful!
There are major differences between the Accord D program offered by the Caisse Desjardins distribution network and Accès D (Internet and telephone) and the Accord D program offered by a merchant registered with Desjardins Card Services, specifically as concerns the interest rates, terms and conditions of membership, fees, etc.
Before making a decision, we suggest that you check with your Desjardins Accord D advisor. That simple step may save you a lot of worries and unsuspected fees.
