Direct Payment of Insured Portion of Dental Claims – Dentaide

Dentaide lets participating dentists enjoy guaranteed payment for the insured portion of the treatments that they give to their insured patients.

Why is it advantageous to belong to the Dentaide system?
The Dentaide system allows group and guaranteed payments of the insured portion. It is the only system in the field of private dental insurance where rights and obligations are delimited by contracts signed by participating dentists and insurers who have agreed to comply with them. As a result, participating dentists receive just one cheque with the payments for all treatments performed and certified by a confirmation number. Claims are processed in real time using a user-friendly method and cheques are sent out twice per month. Dentists participating in Dentaide who are also Net+ ACDQ subscribers can take advantage of payment by direct deposit: the payment can be deposited in their choice of an individual or group account. Therefore, they enjoy the many advantages of direct deposit: simple, practical, secure, environmentally-friendly and free.

ELIGIBILITY

All dentists in Quebec are eligible.

PROCEDURE

To become a participating dentist, you must sign the Service contract and pay a single lifetime membership fee.

Dentaide offers you the opportunity to pay your entry fee by successive deductions, each equivalent to 3% of the fees paid to you by Dentaide, up to $800 if you are a new graduate or up to $1,000 if you don't become a participating dentist the year of your graduation.

The fee for electronic claims is 0.6%.
